All students in Grades 6-8 participate in a Ski Week in February each year. The students travel in their grade level group. Grade 7 will travel to Shizukuishi in Iwate Prefecture, staying at the Prince Hotel.
All beginner and intermediate students are required to take lessons to ensure student safety and familiarity with the mountain.

Ski (skis, boots & poles) or Snowboard (board & boots) are provided in the cost of the trip. However, students are invited to bring their own equipment if they prefer.
There will be lessons given to all 7th grade students who are not advanced. Lessons will be given in ability-based groups. Lessons will be approximately ¥5,000 for two hours, at a ratio of 10 students per instructor, and are to be prepaid during the week of January 22, 2018.
Students will need to bring a pack lunch on Wednesday
Students will been to bring ¥6,000 - ¥7,000 for meals and snacks

Complete packing and cleaning of rooms, put bags outside room

Room check, etc.
Leave hotel by bus to Akita Airport
Arrive at Akita Airport
